From the spiritual serenity of Costa Rica’s jungles, rivers and waterfalls to the mystical allure and majesty of the Arenal Volcano rising 5437 feet above thermal springs and natural wonders in the village of Fortuna, this 5-night, 4-day journey will leave you in awe of the vibrant culture, unforgettable activities, delectable cuisine, and breathtaking landscapes.

Your event begins with a life-changing opening ceremony with Alan Lowis, that you will always remember. You will learn to command your thoughts, feelings and attention, to fully embrace the present, and to truly be able to find the beauty in each moment – allowing you to reconnect with yourself, your spouse, your fellow YPO members and the wonders and miracles of nature that fill each and every second of life.

You will embark on a meticulously curated journey of sights, sounds, scents, tastes and sensations that will touch your mind, heart, body and soul.

It will be filled with gustatory delights: traditional Costa Rican dishes, popular sweet and savory treats, locally grown berries, pineapples, coffees, sugar cane and chocolates as well as gourmet dishes and Blue Zone inspired creations.

It will be filled with adventure where you will customize your personal experience with several unforgettable excursions including rappelling, zip lines/canopy tours, jungle sky-bridges, horseback volcano tours, ATV trekking, white-water-rafting, and paddle boarding on Lake Arenal below the volcano. For those seeking more serenity, look no further than the soothing indulgences available at the spa, the healing power of yoga, and relaxation and peace that always accompany a hike in nature’s embrace.

Your eyes will feast on a thousand shades of green as you marvel at the bio-diversity of the Costa Rican Jungle where you can see the white faced cappuchin monkeys, osos perisosos, parrots, hummingbirds, frogs, toucans, butterflies, and a variety of ants, spiders and other tiny loveable creatures going about their daily journeys. The sights and scents of Costa Rica’s flowers will move you as well.

You will immerse yourself in the healing waters of crystal blue rivers and cascading waterfalls, and you will relax or play in the legendary waters of the thermal hot springs at the base of the ancient Volcano.

You will ground yourselves and remember all of your blessings as you meet and connect with the warm and welcoming members of the Maleku indigenous peoples – learning about their unique culture and history, exploring their natural environment, engaging in their traditional arts & crafts, and experiencing some of their sacred rituals as well as making a positive impact on their community by sharing your lives and breaking bread with the families of this magical land.

Thursday: Arrival Day

Travel Day: Arrive in Costa Rica and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.

Friday: A Day of Wonders

7:00 AM: Begin your day with a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast.
8:00 AM: Unforgettable opening ceremony that sets the tone for the journey ahead led personally by Alan Lowis
9:30 AM: Board your luxurious transport and embark on your adventure.
10:30 AM: Visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Meander the winding trails to five majestic waterfalls, the most famous in Costa Rica. Explore a trout fishing pond and have close encounters with hummingbirds, parrots, monkeys, pumas, and other magnificent creatures. Along the way, be on the lookout for some special treats we've planned just for you, to make the day even more enjoyable.
12:30 PM: Relish a sumptuous and flavorful lunch amidst the beauty of La Paz.
1:30 PM: Continue exploring and enjoying the natural wonders within these breathtaking gardens.
3:30 PM: It’s time to set off towards your next destination. Board your vehicles and prepare for your arrival at one of the most stunning vistas in Costa Rica.
5:30 PM: Arrive at an extraordinary hotel with thermal hot springs and spectacular views of the majestic Arenal Volcano.
7:00 PM: Welcome Dinner followed by time to socialize and relax in the thermal pools or perhaps head to your guest room to share with your spouse some of your best memories from this extraordinary first day.

Saturday: Embrace the Splendor - Choose your Own Adventure

7:00 AM: Savor a delightful breakfast.
All Day: Customize your day and choose from multiple excursion options including lunch and two amazing activities which can include zipline/canopy tours, jungle bridges, nature hikes, horseback riding near the Volcano, paddle boarding on Lake Arenal, rappelling, ATV treks and even white water rafting. There will also be spa appointments available to pamper yourselves and of course time in the mystical waters of the thermal hot springs.
7:30 PM: Dinner featuring a traditional Costa Rican show with dance and music, inspired by Blue Zone cuisine.
10:00 PM: Unwind in the natural thermal pools under the stars or time for sleep filled with the sweetest of dreams.

Sunday: Mystical Waters and Cultural Connections

7:00 AM: Sumptuous breakfast to energize your day.
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Exciting excursion to the majestic Rio Celeste for an enchanting tubing adventure in the magical blue waters.
12:00 PM - Delicous lunch to keep you energized for the unique and touching experiences to come.
1:00 PM: An incomparable and heartwarming visit with the Maleku indigenous people for a personally moving cultural experience. Learn about their rich history, explore their natural environment, engage in traditional arts and crafts, witness tribal dances and traditions, and share a meal, fostering deep personal connections.
9:00 PM: Reception upon return to the hotel with drinks and desserts, followed by an evening focused on romantic connection with your spouse. Enjoy intimate moments under the Costa Rican stars, creating lasting memories together.

Monday: Embrace the Grace & Power Within

7:00 AM: Breakfast to energize your day.
9:00 AM: Embark on a journey to a beautiful location where you will encounter zebras and have the opportunity to feed giraffes amidst their natural habitat. Marvel at the grace and beauty of these magnificent creatures, connecting deeply with the rhythm of the wild. For those who didn’t zip line, tour the canopy, or tube the Costa Rican river’s there will be one more chance to experience these joyful experiences.
12:00 PM: Gather for a delightful lunch, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Costa Rica's landscapes, where each is bite savored amidst the echoes of the morning’s wildlife encounters and adventures.
2:00 PM: Arrive at your beachfront haven, where the turquoise waters beckon for relaxation and rejuvenation. Take time to swim, unwind, and indulge in the amenities of your tropical retreat.
6:00 PM: As dusk falls, immerse yourself in an unforgettable dinner on the beach. Adorned with tiki torches and enlivened by live drummers, the atmosphere is charged with anticipation. As the sun sets, prepare for another highlight of your journey.
7:30 PM: Culminate your adventure with the a Board Break Through Experience on the Beach. Feel the exhilaration of conquering fear, forging memories that will burn brightly long after your journey’s culmination and closing celebration filled with joy, connection and gratitude. Enjoy drinks, desserts, and revel in the memories of the magic moments you have shared on this extraordinary odyssey together.

Tuesday: Farewell Costa Rica

Morning: Head to the Liberia Airport and travel home, carrying the spirit of Costa Rica with you.
