Something magical happens at Christmas. It could be the glimmer of the lights, the pine-scent of Christmas trees filling the air, the festivity and joyfulness of the holiday decorations.

It could also be the feeling that awakens within us when the world slows down for a moment and our hearts open and feel more present.

For just one day, just one moment, fireplaces glow, snow softly falls, homes and hearts feel warmer, and we gather around family tables sharing meals, laughter, stories, hot chocolate, cinnamon, and the simple comfort of being together.

We gather together, give gifts, and watch with love, as joy lights up the faces of children - both the young and the old.

Yet beneath all this beauty, tradition, and festivity, there is something even deeper moving us through this season.

Christmas is, at its best, a time of love, kindness, joy, peace, generosity, and gratitude. It's a time when we celebrate the very best of who we are and remember who we are capable of being.

It reminds us to open our hearts, to give freely, to forgive more easily, and to carry this spirit beyond the holidays and into the rest of the year.

My wish for you this Christmas and Holiday Season is that you feel not only the beauty that's all around you, but also recognize and embrace the goodness it awakens within you.

Let the light of this season fill you, carry you, and stay with you as the beauty, hope, and promise of the coming year begin to unfold before you.
